There is much high-quality music on the site of Arte, the Franco-German TV visible across Europe, but that we can’t see here in Italy despite the call by Abbado in 2004, because investing in culture is not part of the habits of our governments.
Currently we can only follow it for free through satellite dish in French or German language. I can’t find it even in the new public digital platform (the so called digital terrestrial).
Fortunately, we can always go on the internet where we find part of the production of this TV station. It is not just classical music: the site also hosts pop rock and electronica, jazz and blues, chanson française, world music, theater and dance.
